RESET

Doors open from 6.30pm

Tickets from £5.00 with an option to pay it forward to BOLD (HELP US BUY A PRINTER!)

This is an offshoot of the Tuesday Night acting gym at which a community of actors meets weekly to cold-read scenes and redirect each other. The work is playful, bold (no pun) and exciting to watch. We want to share some of it!

Part 1 A few of our regular members will get scenes on the day of the performance. In the first half, they’ll present the audience with their take on the scenes.

Part 2 The audience will decide on a radical RESET of the scenes (different genres, different times, different character flaws etc) and…

Part 3 … watch the actors dive straight into a second take.

About The Tuesday Night Group

Three years ago, recent graduates from Oxford School of Drama and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland began meeting weekly to practise our craft together. The community has grown to include almost 300 actors who drop in, more or less regularly, to warm-up, sight-read, explore scenes and combat the isolation we can often feel as actors in London. The night is affordable through the generosity of Bold Elephant and a handful of voluntary admins who keep everything running from week to week. The group was founded by Madeleine Price, Catriona Stirling, Aiyana Bartlett and Nisha Emich.
